Profiles

Profile is preset phone configuration, so you don't need to change phone setting manually every time. Just select concrete profile for desired alert configuration.You can define from 5 to 7 profiles. By default, their names are: 'General' (could not be changed), 'Silent', 'Meeting', 'Outdoor' and 'Pager'.

In 71**/62**/6310 phones 2 additional profiles will appear, if you connect a headphone set for, at least, once.

Profile management is available for all Nokia phones, supported by Oxygen Software, except of the 51**/61**/3***/82**/88** phone model lines (this feature is not realized physically in these phones).

Editing profiles, you can customize ringing signals for defined incoming calls (depending on concrete group of contacts), keypad signal levels, vibrating alert, warning tones and SMS sound notification.

In Oxygen Phone Manager for Nokia phones There is possibility of editing your phone's profiles. You can access them in different ways: from main menu and from the Phone Explorer in the left part of OPM II program window.

Please, note, due to firmware limitations, sometimes there is no possibility to set profile from external phone management program (Oxygen Phone Manager for Nokia phones, for example), therefore data for current active profile in the phone itself and in program may differ.
