It is intended for editing melodies and their record to the phone. Its menu contains several buttons.

- Write to phone. Writing the melody from Melody editor to phone in "Preview" mode. (the phone will ask whether to listen to the melody, save it or cancel).
- Write to phone cell. Not for all models. Writing the melody from Melody editor to the exact place, you choose.
- Play. Play the melody from the Melody editor.
- Stop play. Stop playing the melody.
- Optimize/Deoptimize. Optimize/Deoptimize melody from Melody editor. Optimize melody - reduces the size of a melody, selecting optimum values by default for duration and an octave. Deoptimize melody - displays each note of a melody completely, ignoring default settings.
- Raise octave (scale). Lift notes octaves. Operates on all melody entirely.
- Lower octave (scale). Lower notes octaves. Operates on all melody entirely.
- Raise duration. Increases notes duration. Slowing down sounding effect. Operates on all melody entirely.
- Lower duration. Decreases notes duration. Speeding-up sounding effect. Operates on all melody entirely.
- Replace. Replacement in a melody. Dialogue. Depending on your choice, it makes changes in the given musical filter or as the usual text.
- Cut. To cut marked peace of the ring tone.
- Copy. To copy marked peace of the ring tone.
- Paste. To paste marked peace of the ring tone.
- Undo. To cancel the operation.
- Redo. To repeat the operation.
- New ring tone. Create new ring tone in Melody editor.
- Load from file. Load a melody from file.
- Save to file. Save all, or selected, melodies to a file.
- Send via SMS. Opens the window of SMS creation as a ring tone with the current melody.
Values by default:
Operates on all melody entirely:
The name of the melody. The name for the melody to be written to the phone with.
Style. Normal (by default), staccato (notes sounds with obviouse pauses), continuous (notes sounds without any pauses).
Play rate. Beats per minute. (125 by default)
Scale. An octave by default (if you won't point it, it'll be o=5)
Note duration. Duration in code by default (if you won't point it, it'll be d=4)
Editor field:
Common text editor. For the notes record two format are used: (possible in the mixed form) RTTTL and NokRing.
In addition:
Is actual only for entering this information to Melodies library. Cannot be written to the phone.
Artist. Artist's name in the Melodies library.
Melody's name. Melody's name in the Melodies library.
Note editor. Displays/hides "Piano board" and "Note editor"
Buttons. Switching to the "Note editor".
Piano. Switching to the "Piano board".
