Note Editor

Allows to prepare note for adding, inserting, replacing and deleting in Melody editor field.

- Add. Adds prepared note in the end of the melody in Melody editor field.

- Insert. Inserts prepared note before the current one in Melody editor field.

- Replace. Replaces the current note in Melody editor field with the prepared one.

- Delete. Deletes the current note in Melody editor field.

Note.

The letters to write the notes can be as big as small, but in general - they are to be small. In Nokring format sharps are placing before the note's letter and after the point symbol, increases the duration.

Octave.

Because of the phone sequencer don't have the whole scale more then 7 octaves, as the piano, in RTTTL format there are some admission, which you can understand from the following:

"0" | A note = 440 Hz (the lowest octave)

"1" | A note = 880 Hz

"2" | A note = 1.76 kHz

"3" | A note = 3.52 kHz (the highest octave)

"4" | A note = 440 Hz (the lowest octave)

"5" | A note = 880 Hz

"6" | A note = 1.76 kHz

"7" | A note = 3.52 kHz (the highest octave)

So, for example, 16b1 will play as 16b5. It is accepted to write octaves in codes by first half of this table by default, i.e. from 0 to 3, as it is in Nokring.

Duration.

"1" | 1/1 (the whole note)

"2" | 1/2

"4" | 1/4

"8" | 1/8

"16"| 1/16

"32"| 1/32

Also duration can be changed as one of the special additional symbols '.' , indicated after the letter of the note, and after a sharp symbol if it exists, but before an octave number. In this case note duration will be in one and a half time bigger then it is specified by figure before note symbol, i.e. 2d#.4 will be not ?, but ?. It is not recommended to use this opportunity of the Nokia phone yet for ring tones adequate converting in other phones codes. In Nokring record an additional symbol '.' places not after the note, but before it, right after the basic duration number.

Additional symbols:

. - increases note duration in one and a half time.

; - increases note duration twice.

& - increases note duration in two and a half times.

Piano board:

It represents piano emulator with four octaves included. You can insert them with mouse as well as with keyboard. There are helpful tips for the first two octaves, showing which key they are associated with. To move for two octaves, you should use "Shift" button. After releasing the key, corresponding note will be copied into the editor's field with depending on key press time duration. If the Piano board window is active, you can delete the whole note with the "Backspace", not only a symbol.
