Configuring interaction between Agent and your computer.
Depending on type of drivers used it's necessary to lead a spadework for successful communication functioning:
| • | Microsoft. You should start OxyAgent in your phone and choose 'Start Bluetooth Exchange' in 'Options' menu. Then it is necessary to open 'Bluetooth devices' 'Start'/'Control panel' and pair your phone with the PC. After that you need to go to 'Properties'/'Services' and check 'Oxygen SPP' service there. This service will be used for connection with Symbian SMS Manager. In our program only Microsoft Bluetooth should be checked in 'Tools'/'Options'/'Connection'. If for some reasons Microsoft Bluetooth is greyed out you need to add the COM port manually. |
| • | Widcomm. You should start OxyAgent in your phone and choose 'Start Bluetooth Exchange' in 'Options' menu. Then you need to pair your phone with the computer, search for services and open 'Oxygen SPP' service once. After that the phone will be connected to the program. |
| • | BlueSoleil. You should start OxyAgent in your phone and choose 'Start Bluetooth Exchange' in 'Options' menu. After that it is necessary to search for services and choose 'Serial port' service through which the phone will be always connected to Symbian SMS Manager. |
| • | AVM. You should start OxyAgent in your phone and choose 'Start Bluetooth Exchange' in 'Options' menu.Then you need to pair your phone with the PC, choose 'Start verification' option, then 'Connect with' and finally 'Oxygen SPP'. The phone should be connected. |
Note: In UIQ3 phones there is a Serial Port-mRouter service. We highly recommend to disable it while establishing connection with our program.
